Collingrove graduates shine on the track

It’s been a great few days for Collingrove Stud graduates on the track. Starting on Friday night, Collingrove Stud had two runners in the Cranbourne maiden over 1600 metres, both by Toronado. Station One (Toronado/Alittle loose) (above) was having his first start while Toropeak (Toronado/Top Peak) was coming off multiple placings over her last two starts.

Station One  was sensationally backed from 25/1 into 4.80 and didn’t let his supporters down winning comprehensively by 2.5 lengths. An 80k purchase by Liam Howley from our 2020 Melbourne Premier draft, this horse looks to have a bright future.

Toropeak again showed her consistency by just missing the Quinella and running 3rd. She herself was from the same draft as Station One fetching 42k.

The Toronado theme continued on Sunday with Chartres (Toronado/The French House) (above) from our 2020 Melbourne Gold Sale draft,  Already a winner, he ran a game 2nd in the BM64 race at Mornington. He will definitely benefit from the run and is one to keep an eye on.
Monday capped off a great long weekend with Sistine Explorer (Brazen Beau/Dora n Boots) (above) from again our 2020 Melbourne Premier draft, won ultra impressively at Ballarat in a 1000m maiden. This filly, who has form around boom horse Argentia, looks to have better things ahead of her. She was a 70k purchase to Andrew Noblet racing.
